I love the trailer it brought back memories of watching that movie with my parents. A couple of years ago, I had some students from Brewbaker Tech over helping out on Brewbaker Primary side and they told me that they were discussing the movie and the book. They explained that the book tells how different things in the book symbolized different historical events. They told me that Dorothy's red slippers were really silver and they symbolized the civil rights movement and etc. That information they shared with me was something that I never heard of before, but like the old saying, "You learn something new everyday".
